Early one morning while setting up to shoot from Wooly Back Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway, a motorcyclist from Iowa (E.S.) stopped to bury the ashes of a family member in a spot that was pre-selected and marked by GPS. I was not surprised to learn that many have their ashes brought to The Blue Ridge Mountains. After all, for mere mortals it is almost Heaven.
